What Is Slugterra? "Slugterra" is an animated show associated with Nerd Corps Entertainment, Disney XD, and Netflix. The first episode hit Canadian screens in September 2012. A month later, viewers in the United States were introduced to the quirky kids' world. In 2016, "Slugterra" found a home on Netflix. So what's it all about? Basically, Slugterra is a massive underground world where humans and creatures enjoy special powers if they accelerate over 100 miles per hour.
